After just two years in charge of the Minnesota Timberwolves, some fans have already had enough of coach Tom Thibodeau. A GoFundMe page was started on Tuesday morning to raise $5,000 so a “Fire Thibs Billboard” could be placed in Minneapolis.

It was reported that Karl-Anthony Towns were not on great terms with the Timberwolves, and it has created some friction from the Wolves fans who now want to see Thibodeau fired.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, a lot of the issues between the Wolves and Towns go back to Thibodeau deciding to fire his favorite coach, Vince Legarza. Not only did they fire him, they also didn't let Towns know before it happened.

“Let’s just put it this way: I didn’t make this up. People in the league have been saying, “You know, maybe we should call and take a look and see what’s going on with Karl Towns.” Now, he and Tom Thibodeau did not have the greatest season together. I think that’s far to say.”

“They recently fired Vince Legarza, who’s his strength-and-conditioning coach or he’s actually his workout coach with the Wolves and, according to The Athletic, didn’t tell him about it. He found out when everybody else did.”

This isn't the first time that the Wolves fans have been frustrated with Coach Thibs. There have been a lot of grumblings about his lack of playing the bench, and even players have voiced their frustrations about playing too many minutes.

The GoFund Me page still has a long way to go in terms of money that needs to be raised, but it seems like the Wolves fans are finally giving their two cents.
