The Minnesota Timberwolves are rolling as of late, as they are 10-1 over the course of their last 11 games overall. The T-Wolves are the owners of the league's team top scoring offense and they displayed their scoring prowess on Saturday in their 138-119 against the Bucks. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both scored 25 points each in the victory.

Karl-Anthony Towns is making a legitimate MVP case for himself. The big man is averaging 24.9 points per game to go along with 9.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest. He shared his thoughts on the team's performance as of late following their Saturday win:

“Any time we step on the court, we should win. Simple as that. There's no excuse. We don't feel that we should lose to anybody. We feel we can beat anybody.”

His confidence helps to show how he has developed into a leader. Towns is the key cog in the ignition that drives the Timberwolves.

But Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell have held up their end of the bargain as well. Edwards is averaging 21 points and Russell has posted averages of 18.6 points and 7.1 assists per contest.

The trio of Towns, Edwards, and Russell have teamed up to combine one of the best big 3's in the league.

It will be interesting to see if they can keeping rolling moving forward. The Timberwolves currently place seventh in the Western Conference standings but are just a half game behind Denver and one game and a half behind Dallas. Their upcoming matchup with the Mavericks on Monday will be a great game without question.

As things stand right now, Minnesota is the hottest team in the NBA.
