Minnesota Timberwolves legend Kevin Garnett is ready to set aside his differences with Glen Taylor so he can purchase the franchise.

Taylor is selling the Timberwolves and Garnett is seriously interested in buying the team. Although the two men don't have the best relationship, KG is willing to do whatever it takes to turn the team into a championship organization and buy the franchise from Taylor.

“My passion for the Minnesota Timberwolves to be a championship team is well known but I have a deeper affection for the city of Minneapolis,” Kevin Garnett wrote on Twitter.

“I once again want to see Minneapolis as the diverse and loving community that I know it is. No two people love the city more than myself and Glen Taylor and I look forward to trying to work with him to achieve my dream.”

During the Jimmy Butler trade drama last season, Garnett went on TNT and said Taylor “doesn't know sh*t about basketball.” It's well known that KG is upset Taylor hasn't retired his No. 21 jersey despite what he accomplished during his prime with the Timberwolves.

Will Garnett join Michael Jordan as the second Hall of Fame player to own an NBA team? Only time will tell, but Timberwolves fans are praying Taylor makes the smart move and sells the franchise to a guy like Garnett, who is going to give his blood, sweat and tears in trying to bring a championship to Minnesota.
