The Minnesota Timberwolves have so far lived up to expectations with their hot start to the season, winning seven of their first 10 games. Part of their success is their additions in the offseason proving that they all co-exist on the floor and be on the same page. It also helps that two of their new players have already formed a good relationship in the past.

With Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson now reunited in Minneapolis, they have a chance to further strengthen their bond. The three-time All-Star proved just that as he trolled Gibson following the Timberwolves' victory against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, showing that they remain good friends. After explaining that he doesn't mind how his team plays as long as they continue piling up wins, Jimmy Butler ribbed the Taj Gibson by saying he will look for other options first before passing the ball to him even if he is wide-open.

Butler and Gibson played six seasons together during their days with the Chicago Bulls, and under the tutelage of their current head coach, Tom Thibodeau. That definitely adds to their familiarity with one another, which translated quickly to good chemistry with the rest of the team.

The 28-year-old Marquette product may have jokingly claimed he won't pass to Gibson, but that will certainly not be the case during games, especially with how he has shown in the past that he has the knack to locate open teammates.
