The Tennessee Titans took a 13-6 lead at halftime against the New Orleans Saints, but they got some bad health news in the first half when Bud Dupree suffered an abdominal injury and left the game. Dupree was subsequently ruled out.

The Titans signed Dupree this past offseason after he spent the first six seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The pass rusher tore his ACL as a member of the Steelers last season in Week 12 and missed the rest of the season.

Dupree racked up 8.0 sacks in 11 games last season and a career-high 11.5 in 2019 as a key member of an elite Steelers defense. However, he hasn't been nearly as productive this season after suffering that ACL tear, with just a lone sack to his name as a member of the Titans.

While Dupree hasn't been all that prolific, Tennessee has been awesome to start this season. The Titans are 7-2 on the year, which is the best record in the AFC. Injury problems are racking up, though, with Derrick Henry out for a long time and Julio Jones recently put on injured reserve.

Tennessee will look to move to 8-2 with a big second half against New Orleans, but the win will have to happen without Dupree.
