AJ Brown is on the receiving end of some backlash after it was reported that he's skipping the Tennessee Titans' on-field offseason program because of his contract situation. Of course the 24-year-old wideout is not sitting idle while getting all the hate.
On Twitter, Brown responded to the criticisms calling him a diva and a bad teammate. He also questioned how quick fans criticized him for his decision despite going all out in his first three years with the team.

Going on a holdout is no longer a new thing in the NFL. After all, many players have done it amid contract negotiations in a bid to use it as a leverage and pressure the team to give in to their demands.
Besides, it is worth noting that early offseason workouts are voluntary. Fans don't often see superstar players in such activities anyway, so it's not like AJ Brown is doing something extreme here.
For what it's worth, though, the Titans are said to be keen on striking a deal with AJ Brown. As Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported last January, Tennessee wants to keep him in the team long-term with a deal that would make him one of the highest-paid wideouts in the NFL.
Sure enough, Brown wants to see that commitment in reality and put pen to paper. Until the Titans do so, the wide receiver will not be rushing his return to the team.
