Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is making the case that he belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Henry became the 4th player in NFL history Sunday to record 1,000 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in 5 different NFL seasons, per AtoZ Sports Nashville.

Henry accomplished the feat for the Titans in a Week 18 game Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Shaun Alexander, Emmitt Smith, and LaDainian Tomlinson are the only other running backs to accomplish what Henry achieved.

Henry also set a franchise record for the Titans Sunday. He recorded his 41st 100 yard rushing game, which puts him at the top of the list for the Titans/Oilers franchise, per Nashville's News Channel 5. Henry passed Earl Campbell, who had 40 such games for the franchise. That number includes both regular season as well as playoff games.

The Titans are turning some heads on Sunday, finishing out their season against the Jaguars. At the time of writing, the Titans lead the Jaguars 28-13 in the second half. The Jaguars need the win to take the AFC South and make it to the AFC playoffs. A loss would end the season for Jacksonville, who started quarterback Trevor Lawrence for the game despite his shoulder injury.

The Titans are 5-11 for the season and playing in their final game of the year Sunday. On the season, Henry has rushed for more than 100 yards in four games, including Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.

Henry was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played his college football at Alabama. Henry was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in the 2020 season, and he's a four-time Pro Bowler. It is rumored Henry is leaving the Titans following the season's end.
