Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry finished the regular season with the rushing title, but he is almost single-handedly carrying the Titans offense on his back this postseason.

Henry torched the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens in each of Tennessee's last two victories, rushing for 377 yards on a whopping 64 carries.

The scariest part? Henry says he gets stronger with every carry (via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk):

“I think I get in a rhythm the more carries I get,” Henry said on Thursday. “I get a better feel for the game as the game goes on.”

It should come as no surprise that Henry feels more comfortable as the game goes along. He has earned a reputation for being a slow starter.

Henry did not eclipse 58 yards in a single contest through the first 12 games of the 2018 season, but he erupted for 585 yards over the final four weeks. The former Heisman Trophy winner also struggled to get it going with Marcus Mariota under center, but Henry embarked on a ridiculous six-game run down the stretch, rushing for 896 yards over the final six weeks of the season.

After Henry's divisional round upset of the Baltimore Ravens, he became the first running back in NFL history to record 180-plus yards in three straight games.

The Titans will be heavily reliant on Henry once again as they square off against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Kansas City's defense ranked 26th in the league in rushing yards allowed per game during the regular season.
