The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to play the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. However, Tom Brady and the rest of the Bucs experienced a little bit of a mishap on the way there. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Buccaneers spent around five hours on the tarmac for their flight to Carolina due to mechanical issues.

This is obviously not an ideal way to head into a road game. Add to that the difficulty of travelling amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Nonetheless, all seems good now and Tampa Bay left at around 6 p.m. ET and will make their way shortly to Charlotte. This should give them ample time to wind down and get themselves ready ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. kick-off.

It hasn't been a good week for Tom Brady at all. He and the rest of the Bucs started off with a brutal 38-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Brady committed three interceptions in the defeat.

To add to his misery, the 6-time SuperBowl champion almost lost two of his jet skis during the Tropical Storm Eta that passed through Tampa Bay on Wednesday night.

As Brady described during a Thursday presser, the dock that had the jet skis broke. This prompted the two to float away in the middle of the bay. Fortunately, Brady was able to get back the two jet skis.

Perhaps Brady's mid-week luck of retrieving his two skis could be a sign of better things to come for the 14-time Pro-Bowler.
