Tom Sandoval is laying it on all the line with an unexpected emotional apology for his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix. On the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion, Sandoval apologized to Madix for his months-long affair with their costar Rachel Leviss.
“Ariana, I regret it every day. I wear it as a badge of shame. I did the thing that I said I would never do and I did it,” he told Madix.
Prior to his apology, Sandoval and Madix confessed that their relationship was not in the best place, but she was not deserving of his infidelity.
“I know you don't want to be around me. Whatever our relationship was the good, the bad — whatever you did, whatever I did — it doesn't matter. You didn't deserve that,” he continued. “And I'm really sorry, from the bottom of my heart.”
Madix spoke about their relationship from her perspective claiming that he had a “double life” in reference to his affair.
“I don't know who you are,” she said with tears in her eyes. “I'm sorry if that's something you have a hard time with, but that is the consequences of your actions towards me.”
Madix also unloaded on Leviss who did not attend the reunion calling her a “s—– person.”
“You also brought this s—y person into both of our lives in a very f—ed up way and this bitch has to f—ing talk about me all the time,” she fired back at Sandoval. “You did that!”
“I feel really bad about that, I understand,” Sandoval replied. “I wish you the best, and I will definitely give you your space. We'll figure everything out, we have our lawyers, don't worry about it. I understand.”
Tom Sandoval Addresses Lala Kent's Comment On The “Grooming” Of Rachel Leviss During The First Part Of VPR Reunion
This was the third installment of the reunion and it is only part of the explaining he did. Earlier in the season, Lala Kent accused Sandoval of “grooming” Leviss due to their 12-year age gap.
Andy Cohen wasted no time in hitting Sandoval with the hard questions during the first part of the reunion. Alongside Sandoval was joined by Madix, Kent, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Lisa Vanderpump. Cohen brought up the “grooming” allegations in relation to Kent's comments earlier in the season.
“She used the word ‘groomed’ which is beyond f——– slander considering she is not underage,” Sandoval explained to Cohen. “That implies pedophilia.”
“Lala, your entire life was a mystery and off-limits for years and years and we respected that,” Sandoval told Kent earlier in the season. “It feels like things are only allowed to be talked about if you are OK with them.”
“I know what triggered me was when she said [during the final part of the season 10 reunion], ‘If I don’t fall in line with Sandoval then I have nobody.’ You isolate. You groom. You lie,” Lala told Sandoval. “I do not want to know you. You are scary.”
