Every coach has his own way of delivering a message to his players. From the plays they call to making them feel like they are being taken care of, every coach has different styles on how they do it, including Tom Thibodeau.
Despite losing Zach LaVine midway through the season, the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves still finds a way to show him still part of the team, in a hilarious way. During the team's practices, coach Thibs actually yells at LaVine.
Throughout the course of his career, Thibodeau has made a name for himself as a fiery mentor who will do whatever it takes to make sure he gets his message across. For people who don't know Thibs, it's not something he does out of disrespect to them, but rather from his competitive nature.
In Early February, the Wolves announced that LaVine would miss the remainder of the season after an MRI showed that he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. He has since had surgery and is undergoing rehab to be ready for next season. The 22-year-old UCLA product was having his best season so far before going down with the injury, averaging 18.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
He is hoping to be ready for training camp and be able to suit up for the Timberwolves once next season starts. Once LaVine returns, however, the yelling from coach Thibodeau will likely still continue.
