Tyson Fury put on a show for the fans Saturday night, as he and Deontay Wilder slugged it out in an 11-round bout for the ages. In the end, the British boxer came out on top, knocking out Wilder in the 11th round to keep his title and undefeated record intact.

After the match, Fury took to Twitter and immediately thanked someone very important to him.

“Thank you to my lord and saviour Jesus Christ!”

If you didn't know Tyson Fury's religion, he is an open and outspoken Christian. That's proven by his comments immediately after this incredible win. However, Fury's antics before the highly-anticipated match may raise the eyebrows of some devout Christians, if not Jesus himself.

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder had an interesting exchange before the match owing to their fiery history. The two have faced each other twice in the boxing ring: the first ending in a draw, while the second ended with a resounding technical knockout by Fury. Because of that, Fury and Wilder had some words to say to each other. After Wilder claimed that he would knock out Fury in three rounds, Fury clapped back with a rather NSFW answer.

“Ya little bi**. Turn up and fight. Get me knocked out in 3 rounds ya little pu**y. How about that for a message?”

It didn't end up being a three-round knockout, but it was still a satisfying win for Fury. The British boxer traded knockdowns with Wilder early in the match, but as it progressed, it was clear that Fury was winning. After knocking down Wilder three times in the 10th round, Tyson Fury finished the match off with a devastating right hook that sent the American boxer to the canvas.

Fury successfully defended his title, and according to him, he couldn't have done it without the man above.
