Ronda Rousey famously retired from the UFC back in 2016 when she took a brutal knockout loss to Amanda Nunes. Since then, the former bantamweight champion became a WWE star, farmer, and actress among other things.
Retirements in MMA are usually similar to when Michael Jordan retires, it doesn't stick. It's only natural for there to be talks about Ronda Rousey potentially coming back to the UFC and reminding everyone who she was in her prime.
Recently, Ronda Rousey was on The Kurt Angle Show where they discussed her potentially coming back to the UFC. The former champion revealed there was one person that she would come back to fight if given the opportunity.

“There’s only one person. There’s only one person I would come back for. I mean, I’ve said it a million times, for Gina, man,” Rousey said. “Gina Carano, she’s the reason why I got into fighting, she’s the reason why I knew it was a possibility. I will always be forever grateful.
“If she wanted to come into my backyard and do the Rocky thing, you know, ‘ding-ding’ and we just do it in the backyard, I don’t care.”
Gina Carano is very retired from MMA and a comeback may be even more unlikely than Ronda Rousey coming back. Still, the former UFC star is known for how competitive she can be.
Both women are considered pioneers in MMA for what they did in the sport for the women's side of the game. Gina Carano headlined the first main event and Ronda Rousey became the first UFC champion.
