USC football has gotten off to a strong start to the 2023 season led by reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams. Williams will take the field again on Saturday as he leads USC football into battle against the Stanford Cardinal for the team's third straight home game to open up the season.

USC football released a hype video trailer for the matchup, and narrating the video was none other than rapping legend and Southern California native Snoop Dogg.

“They say the journey is more important than the destination,” said Snoop Dogg in the video. “Each chapter brings a new challenge and new opportunity to get better. It ain't gonna be easy, and it ain't gonna be pretty. But it wouldn't be worth it if it was.”

Playing in the background of the video were several of Snoop Dogg's many career hit songs, including “Nuthin but a G Thang” and “Who Am I (What's My Name)?”

Williams and the Trojans are looking to follow up on what was a relatively successful first year for Lincoln Riley as USC football's head coach a season ago. Although the team narrowly missed out on the college football playoff, Williams was spectacular and USC showed steady improvement on prior iterations of the team.

The Trojans opened up the 2023 season with wins over San Jose State and Nevada, each in blowout fashion. The road will get tougher as things progress, starting with Stanford on Saturday.

However, with both Snoop Dogg and the immense USC football fanbase in their corner, it seems anything is possible for the Trojans in 2023.
