Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is on his way to a possible Comeback Player of the Year award after this insane run on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This was Peterson's first ever 90+ yard run ever. He had never had a run like this in his time at Oklahoma nor had he ever done this with the Minnesota Vikings after playing for the team for nearly ten seasons. Peterson looks like he still has plenty of gas left in the tank at 33 years old.

This run was incredible and came against one of the league's best run defenses headlined by big bodies like Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. Peterson split off to the left and that was it. The veteran running back turned on the jets and left Philly defenders in the dust.

Peterson turned back the hands of time and looked like his 2012 MVP form in which he ran for well over 2,000 which very few running backs can say they have accomplished. Peterson entered Monday night's game with 758 yards and 6 touchdowns, and if he continues at this pace then he will have another 1,000-yard season under his belt.

The Redskins may look to fall on Peterson's shoulders more so now with Alex Smith out for the season. The Redskins workhorse has made the most out of his opportunity in his first season with Washington, and it looks like he could easily play for several more seasons. The 33-year old running back was given an opportunity many at his age would never be given, he's truly one of a kind.
