The Minnesota Vikings need a few things to go their way in Week 18 to make the playoffs. But it all starts with the Vikings taking down the NFC North champions Detroit Lions.

Minnesota's goal didn't start out as planned, as the Vikings struggled to get anything going on offense. Justin Jefferson was clearly upset by those offensive problems. An outburst on the sidelines by the star wide receiver was caught by Fox Sports cameras.

Jefferson's outburst did rally a bit of a spark for the Vikings. Minnesota kept the Lions out of the end zone from that point and hit a pair of field goals to take a 13-6 deficit into halftime. While still not the best outcome, the Vikings trailed by just one score at the break.

Still, Minnesota is going to need more from their offense if they want to take down the high-powered Lions. Jefferson has done his part, as he had six catches for 88 yards at halftime. He started the second half with a 12-yard receptions.

If the Vikings beat the Lions, they'll still need the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or New Orleans Saints to lose. Still, Minnesota went through plenty of adversity – from injuries to Kirk Cousins and Jefferson – to be in a playoff position in Week 18.

Justin Jefferson isn't satisfied with just being there however. The Lions might have their spot, but the Vikings are still battling for theirs. The wide receiver wants to see more out of his offense in a must-win game. It'll be up to the Vikings to follow through on Jefferson's wishes.
