A debate poll involving Andre Iguodala and Carmelo Anthony has recently gone viral. In it, fans are asked which career they'd rather have between Iggy and Melo. Quite surprisingly, the Golden State Warriors veteran took a bit of a landslide victory over Anthony. Iguodala himself caught wind of the poll in question and he could not help but share his reaction to the same.

For starters, here's a look at the poll result wherein Iguodala managed to beat out the Los Angeles Lakers vet by quite a significant margin:

Iguodala decided to address the rather unexpected result and even he seems to disagree with the same:

“3. Carmelo and myself really aren’t in the same category… @carmeloanthonyis goD status!! I’m like one of the high ranking angels…” Iguodala wrote in his tweet

You have to appreciate the honesty and the humility from Andre Iguodala here. The long-time Warriors stud had nothing but praise for Melo, who he clearly holds in very high regard. So much so, that Iggy went as far as saying that Anthony has earned “god status” in the league. For his part, the 38-year-old sees himself as a “high ranking angel,” which is actually a pretty accurate analogy here.

For what it's worth, Iguodala is a four-time NBA champion. This is the biggest advantage he has over Melo. The Warriors swingman also happens to be a former Finals MVP, a one-time All-Star, and two-time All-Defense.

On the other hand, in terms of career achievements, Carmelo Anthony's resume far outshines that of Iguodala: 10-time All-Star, former scoring champion, six-time All-NBA, and a member of the NBA's all-time Top 75 list. As mentioned earlier, it's just the NBA title that's missing from Melo's elite collection.
