Golden State Warriors small forward Andre Iguodala is dealing with a hip injury and will not play against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is calling the injury a “day-to-day thing.”

Iguodala didn't play in the Warriors' previous game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing 27 minutes versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 7.

“This was just something the other night in warmups, his hip kind of locked up on him a little bit,” Kerr told reporters Wednesday. “He came back in the training room and the trainers looked at him and said it's not worth it.

“Same thing tonight. It's just a day-to-day thing.”

Andre Iguodala has played in 25 games this season for the Warriors. The 34-year-old is averaging 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 46.0 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 62.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Golden State is 19-9 on the season and back near the top of the Western Conference after the infamous lull in November. The team doesn't even need Iguodala's services right now, so they should just rest him until he's 100 percent. The 2015 Finals MVP is more valuable to the team in the postseason anyway.

The Warriors are looking for their fifth win in a row when they host the Raptors, the top team in the Eastern Conference.
