The Golden State Warriors organization recently added another feather to their cap, as their team's PR staff was once again awarded with the coveted Brian McIntyre Award for being the most outstanding PR team in the entire league.

The fact that the Warriors have practically dominated this particular category over the past few years speaks volumes of how Golden State's PR team has done such a wonderful job in making sure that the team constantly looks good in the eyes of the general public.

This is made obvious by how many Warriors fans — specifically outside the United States — have joined in on the bandwagon over the past five years. This certainly has a lot to do with the Dubs winning three NBA titles in the last four seasons, but the team's image and branding will also need to take some of the credit in this respect.

It is quite ironic, however, that it was the Toronto Raptors who dethroned the Warriors in this particular award once in the past six years. Now, the Raptors have a shot at winning an even more important accolade at the expense of the Dubs — the NBA title.

Following Toronto's convincing 105- 92 Game 4 victory on Friday night, they are now just one win away from bagging their first ever NBA championship in franchise history. With the series shifting back to Toronto for Game 5 and with momentum on the Raptors' side, the case may very well be that league commissioner Adam Silver crowns a new set of champions on Monday night.
