Draymond Green played a key role for the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night as they took down the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, 107-88. The Dubs talisman showcased his playmaking abilities against Boston by dropping a game-high seven assists, en route to an NBA Finals milestone for the 32-year-old.

Green logged his 188th assist in the NBA Finals on Monday, surpassing two NBA legends in Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird. The Warriors star is now in the Top 10 all-time for most assists in the Finals. Naturally, Green just had to send a special shoutout to his naysayers after this epic achievement:

“Not half bad for a guy who can’t pass,” Green said in his tweet.

Based on the numbers on the list, you can actually see Green climbing further in the ranks throughout this Finals series against the Celtics. Depending on how this series pans out, the Warriors star actually has a shot at becoming No. 6 all-time by the end of the Finals. Green is also just 22 dimes away from surpassing the great Michael Jordan on this particular list, and he's likely to do so within the next few games.

As the Warriors stud said in his statement above, that's not bad at all for someone who critics thought couldn't even pass the ball.
