Kendrick Perkins has been known for the occasional hot take. Not too long ago, the former NBA champ big man made a bit of a bold prediction of how international players — Luka Doncic in particular — are taking over the sport.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is not one to forget, and he made sure to clap back at Perkins after Team USA secured the gold medal in the Olympics after Friday's win over France. In his tweet, however, Green also showered Doncic with some ultimate praise:

You don't always hear Draymond Green dishing out these types of high praise for opponents, so this speaks volumes of just how much players from around the league respect Luka Doncic. The Mavs guard is truly one of the brightest superstars in the NBA today, but he also happens to be one of the nicest players on and off the court.

As for Green, however, he's been known for telling it as it is. He certainly did not let Kendrick Perkins' comments pass here as he reminded the ESPN analyst about how Team USA still remains to be the most dominant force in the world of basketball.

To be fair, we have to agree with Perkins here to some degree. Along with Luka Doncic, a lot of other international players have emerged to superstardom in the NBA over the past few years. However, to say that they're taking over the game would be a bit of an overstatement, to say the least.
