After a couple of months off following a second title in three seasons, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was back on the grind alongside other NBA players as part of the newly-established Grindweek.

“We're out here at Holy Names… Grind Week, just getting some good work in,” Green told NBA.com. “We're getting some guys together. Summer is almost over so we get a chance to work on some things you've been working on in a game setting. So we're gonna get up-and-down, and getting ready to go all week.”

Green was spotted playing with teammate Damian Jones, former teammate Ian Clark, Boston Celtics young gun Jaylen Brown, Chicago Bulls wing Denzel Valentine, and Portland Trail Blazers forward Noah Vonleh in California.

All players worked on conditioning, sprints, cone and lane-to-lane dribbling drills, post moves, and finishing with either hand.

The start of the NBA regular season is only two months away and when it comes to staying in shape, most of these players will get their workouts started with anticipation, hoping to be in proper weight and ready for training camp in September before the preseason gets started.

Some of these players will be battling for minutes, making every bit of sacrifice worthwhile prior to the rigor of an 82-game season.
