The Golden State Warriors had a great Sunday, as they bludgeoned the Houston Rockets in a 126-85 win in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. As what the score suggests, the Warriors were in total control of the game which had Golden State doing Golden State things, including a Draymond Green technical foul.

Green was assessed with a technical foul in the fourth quarter when he had a brief exchange with Rockets forward Trevor Ariza. According to Chris Haynes of ESPN, the NBA has decided to not to cancel that call, meaning Green will have that technical foul stick to his record.

Golden State forward Draymond Green will not have technical foul he received in Game 3 of WCF rescinded, league sources tell ESPN.

That Green infraction in the fourth period barely affected the outcome of the contest at all, as the Warriors were already ahead by a huge margin – 29 to be exact – at the time he and Ariza each got a technical for their skirmish. Green finished the game with 10 points, six assists, a steal, a block, and a whopping total of 17 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. He is averaging 11.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game so far in the playoffs.

As of the moment, Draymond Green has three technical fouls in the playoffs. He finished the regular season with 15 techs, second-most in the league behind Charlotte Hornets big man Dwight Howard, who had 17.

Draymond Green and the Warriors will look to go up 3-1 in the conference finals this Tuesday at home.
