Following a discouraging loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, there isn't much going right for the 3-15 Golden State Warriors, but Glenn Robinson III has made the most of an otherwise tough-to-swallow season with the help of coach Steve Kerr.

The Warriors have gone from being among the NBA's best to the worst team in the league in the wake of unprecedented injuries, yet Robinson, who signed a one-year deal with the team this summer, has thrived through it all.

The sharpshooter scored a career-high 25 points on Monday, an opportunity he wouldn't have otherwise found without Kerr's constant support.

“I think the way that we move the ball, the positions Steve has put me in and just being patient,” Robinson said of his success, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “I know I can shoot the ball, I know I can defend, run the floor, move the ball. It makes it easy for me because I like playing that style of basketball and Steve encourages it.

“I think just being around a positive coach. My five years before this I haven’t had a coach like Steve who really pours into me and empowers me, he really looks at his guys and defers to us in certain situations and it gives me a lot of confidence.”

Robinson took what would have been Alfonzo McKinnie's starting spot at small forward, and he's proven worthy of the nod with an average of 12 points on 49% from the floor,  42% from deep and a near-automatic 87% from the foul line.
