Draymond Green has been the working gear behind the Golden State Warriors' success during the past three seasons and Thursday night, it wasn't any different, as Green stepped up in the absence of Stephen Curry to propel this team to a gut-check 110-107 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
While Kevin Durant carried the scoring load, dropping 14 straight points in the fourth quarter, Green did his damage from all over the floor, stuffing the stat sheet with 11 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, and two blocks during his 36 minutes on the floor.
The Warriors are undefeated when Green notches a triple-double throughout his career, a perfect 22-0 mark.

This is Green's third triple-double of the season, narrowly missing the mark three other times through this 2017-18 campaign.
As the motor of this team, Green is averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game — numbers very consistent with the ones from last season, despite shooting a better percentage from the floor.
The 28-year-old will have to step it up even more with Curry out for the next two games due to an ankle injury, as the Warriors face the Portland Trail Blazers tonight and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday — two opponents vying for the highest spot available in a very competitive Western Conference playoffs.
The Warriors said they won't bother chasing the Houston Rockets in pursuit of the No. 1 seed, but they have won seven straight games, and the first one to falter will be the one sliding down that race.
