The Golden State Warriors have canceled their Tuesday morning practice prior to their home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

This hilariously coincides with being the morning after Stephen Curry's 30th birthday celebration, which took place last night, with plenty of current and former teammates in attendance.

Curry was seen arriving on a yacht, riskily eating ribs with his white birthday shirt on, and plenty of dancing by the likes of Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant.

Such a display of nifty footwork, plus the endless colics from the abundance of baby-back ribs would explain why head coach Steve Kerr called this one off for the defending champions, who are probably better sleeping off their partying from the night before.

Even the coaches could use a rest after nearly displacing a hip with some dance moves of their own.

The Warriors are also in dire need of additional rest during this stretch, losing two heartbreakers against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Minnesota Timberwolves as a result of three games in four days (142 of 144 minutes of floor time without the soon-to-be birthday man in action).

Besides the partying from the other night, the Warriors have been missing key players like Andre Iguodala, David West, and Jordan Bell — players that could benefit from some extra hours of rest and some extra treatment on a day off.

If all goes according to planned, Golden State should be recharged by the time they take on the streaking Lakers at Oracle Arena.
