With the Golden State Warriors currently residing in 10th place in the Western Conference, head coach Steve Kerr is apparently switching up the rotation as a way to spark some much-needed energy.

Kerr didn't go into detail about the lineup changes, but we should be seeing Jordan Poole and James Wiseman get more involved in the coming weeks, per Anthony Slater.

Jordan Poole is a second-year shooting guard who has been coming off the bench for the Warriors, averaging just 10 minutes per game. However, he has been efficient when on the court, putting up an average of 6.8 points per game. His shooting percentages have risen as well, which means Kerr is recognizing his efforts and rewarding him with some more playing time.

Meanwhile, James Wiseman was the Warriors' first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft at No. 2 overall. Wiseman is playing about 20 minutes per game while averaging 11.8 points and 5.9 rebounds. Increasing his playing time makes sense, as it'll give the young rookie phenom some more time to adjust and learn in the NBA.

Wiseman made a mistake by missing a COVID-19 test during the All-Star break, but it looks like he's going to be available for Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, per Slater. The Warriors need all the help they can get as they come into this game on a three-game losing streak, putting them at 19-18 on the season. We'll see if these rotational tweaks have any impact on Golden State's fortunes as Stephen Curry tries to lead this team to the playoffs.
