With a full week before the 2020 NBA Draft, things are starting to heat up in terms of trade talks and draft-day moves. On top of all those discussions are the Golden State Warriors, who are scheduled to pick second overall in the upcoming draft.

The 2018 champions have been under the microscope as the entire league awaits their moves. Their front office have been receiving a ton of interesting offers in exchange of their second overall pick and apparently, they've been intently listening.

Per ESPN's Jonathan Givony, the Warriors are seriously considering moving their pick to hopefully get them a potential starter in their frontcourt. Golden State have apparently been considering offers from the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons and even the New York Knicks, all of whom could possibly trade up and send a big man to the Bay Area for a chance to grab one of this year's top prospects.

It's no question that the Warriors are in desperate need of a big man. Yes, they play a ton of small ball, but as we saw with the 2020 NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers, having a dominant guy in the block like Anthony Davis or even a reliable big like Dwight Howard does work wonders. This is also why a lot of executives expect the Warriors to go with 7-foot James Wiseman if they end up keeping their second pick.

The Warriors' championship core is still intact and coming back healthy after missing virtually the entire 2019-20 season. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are all ready to hit the floor together and avenge their team's league-worst 15-50 record last season. Adding another key piece to their potent lineup should only make things better for these Warriors.

With the draft and free agency fast approaching, the ball is definitely on their court. If recent history has taught us anything, the Warriors are one to take full advantage of this situation.
