Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green missed each of the team's first three games due to a foot injury.

However, the Dubs are hoping Green will be on the floor when Golden State takes on the Portland Trail Blazers later this week.

Green has had multiple setbacks at the start of the year, first testing positive for COVID-19 and later dealing with the aforementioned foot issue. The Warriors have been cautious with his status but will hope the former Michigan State star can take the floor Friday.

It has already been a tremendously strange year for Warriors fans. Golden State dropped each of its first two contests in blowout fashion before Damion Lee (of all people) delivered a game-winner Sunday night against the Chicago Bulls.

The Warriors have had a rough time creating offense. Kelly Oubre is 0-for-17 from beyond the arc and has looked out of sorts on that end of the floor. This is especially impactful seeing as the Warriors acquired him in the hopes he would provide more scoring and floor-spacing in the absence of Klay Thompson.

Andrew Wiggins is shooting below 33 percent from the field, and guys like Jordan Poole are struggling to make contributions in the backcourt. As a result, opposing defenses are crowding Stephen Curry, forcing the two-time MVP to either play hero ball or give up the rock.

On the plus side, No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman has looked strong. Still, the Warriors need more creativity and playmaking offensively in addition to defensive versatility. They will hope to get all those things when Green returns.
