The Golden State Warriors may be starting their season at the all-new Chase Center, and fans are looking forward to the future with the new-look Warriors. However,  one of the jerseys they will be wearing this season will bring old Warriors fans way back.

The r/Warriors Twitter account managed to find one of the Dubs’ newest jerseys for the coming season being sold at a Dick’s Sporting Goods outlet in Colma, California.

The look is interesting, to say the least.

The jersey is clean white that had “San Francisco” emblazoned in bright yellow colors across the jersey’s chest area. The trim had blue, yellow, and red streaks running all around it.

The reaction to the jerseys vary. Some were indifferent to it since it is a throwback jersey, after all. Meanwhile, some fans were violently rejecting the throwback jersey. It is completely different compared to the crisp designs the Warriors have been wearing over the past couple of years.

The jerseys were leaked by the NBA 2K video game series. The jersey, worn by the Warriors from 1962 to 1964, can be seen in the 2K20 trailer and selected when you play the Warriors in 2K19.

While the jersey harks back to the yesteryears, the Warriors that will be wearing them are relatively young. They added Willie Cauley-Stein, D’Angelo Russell, and Omari Spellman over the offseason. They will bring youth and energy to a core that is hitting the 30-mark in age.

It will be an interesting season for the Golden State Warriors. Regardless of the jersey they will wear, fans can expect the team to keep on firing threes and playing beautiful team basketball.
