However, there has been some good news. Draymond Green is back in action, while Andre Iguodala is traveling with the team, which means he could return any day. Saturday, Iguodala was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards, representing an upgrade to his status. When the team signed Iguodala this past summer, it was specifically for help during the postseason. He wasn't ever expected to play a ton of games during the regular season, but most believed he would participate a little more. This season, Iguodala has played in 26 games. It's the second-fewest appearances he has made in a single season.
When the veteran is healthy, he continues to make a positive impact on the court. Iguodala is the perfect fit for this Golden State team, and his influence off the court is equally valuable.
This season, he's averaging 4.1 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per night. If the three-time champion can return to the court with the same productivity he had before, the Dubs are going to be in good shape.
When it comes to Sunday night's game against the Wizards, Iguodala will not be playing, according to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews. There isn't a return date or timeline for his return, but since his status changed from out to questionable, he should be playing any day.
