As NBA Summer League continues, the stars of the future continue to shine. We've seen some fantastic shooting displays and thunderous dunks. Golden State Warriors rookie Jonathan Kuminga has been part of the festivities throughout this NBA summer event, especially in Friday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Halftime was nearing, and Kuminga had his defender on an Island one-on-one. He created a clear path with a crossover dribble and took the ball straight to the cup for a highlight finish.

The crowd and the Internet went bonkers, and that was part of the Warriors rookie's plan.

ā€œI just wanted to have a little show out there. I felt like it was going to bring energy for everybody, especially on defense. I didn't make the dunk last time, but I made it today. I feel like it gave a lot of people energy, and we all played together,ā€ Kuminga told ClutchPoints.

Kuminga's electric dunk produced enough energy to light up Las Vegas. He immediately put on a smile after the dunk because he knew this moment was needed for him and his Warriors teammates. It was the dunk of the day.

Golden State went on to defeat the Thunder 94-84, giving the Warriors back-to-back victories. Moses Moody led the team in scoring with 22 points, and Kuminga finished second with 18 of his own.

Both rookies were very impressive in this matchup, but only one could take home the highlight of the night. It won't be the last time Kuminga breaks the Internet with a highlight dunk, and it might not be the last time he does it at the NBA Summer League.
