Golden State Warriors rookie Jordan Bell is the latest rookie to receive his NBA 2K18 rating this week, garnering a decent 70 to start his video game career.
The University of Oregon product claims he will change it to 99 once the game comes out on Sept. 18, by which point he should already be making strides on training camp.
Bell proved to be not only another score by the Warriors organization in the NBA Draft, but a home run at that, as the 22-year-old had a rare five-by-five outing during a Summer League game, a feat not even defensive ace Draymond Green has achieved during his career.
The rookie has proved to have every defensive intangible that Golden State thought he would possess before buying his rights from the Chicago Bulls for $3.5 million during draft day.
If he starts garnering decent playing time under head coach Steve Kerr, it should only be a matter of time before that rating starts to soar.
Bell has already garnered some fans that are bound to follow his career in the pros, getting wind of a diehard fan in Duck Country wearing his new number in a Warriors jersey.
