The second-round matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies has been one of the most entertaining and controversial matchups of the playoffs. Both Games 1 and 2 had questionable fouls or injuries that took place, so why would Game 3 be any different?

A pair of 2019 draft classmates were the stars of the game and the most talked-about players when it ended. However,  it wasn't for scoring a ton of points. It was because of a video that looks like Jordan Poole grabbed Ja Morant’s knee. Some believe that it's the play that injured the All-Star guard.

“It was a basketball play,” Poole told ClutchPoints. “We doubled him, and I hit the ball. I was going for the ball, and obviously, you don't want to see anybody get hurt. I'm not even that type of player. I respect everybody, so hopefully, he gets better.”

After the game, Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins and Ja Morant expressed that they saw things differently. Jenkins accused Jordan Poole of injuring his star guard, and Morant posted a video that is allegedly the moment he got hurt, and the caption read, “broke the code.”

When you put all of the drama aside, it was a game dominated by the Warriors. The Bay Area’s team won the game 142-112. It was the most points scored by the Warriors since 1967. Morant had a game-high 34 points, and Poole scored 27 points off the Dubs' bench.

It was the first time a game in this series was won by double digits, and the Warriors hope to duplicate this performance on Monday inside the Chase Center.
