Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry got his wish to be named as a team captain for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. However, with three other Warriors making the trip as well he will have some tough decisions to make.

Curry was apparently given his sheet listed with the names of this year's participants. As a result, teammates Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were sure to remind him of his obligations to the Warriors faithful on his Instagram post:

While Durant and Green may have been poking some fun at their teammate, it goes without saying that there is a bit of a serious note to it. Fortunately, it may work out in his favor this time around. NBA players have made it known that they would select their teammates first and foremost when it came to the draft-style format. However, given the unpredictability of this new dynamic, it will be interesting to see how Curry approaches selecting his teammates.

Since both captains will have to select from the starters pool first, taking Durant with the first pick would certainly make sense for either team. Although Curry would undoubtedly choose his teammate with his first selection, one must consider the possibility of James looking to spoil their chemistry with the top overall pick.

Furthermore, Curry's obligation to Green and shooting guard Klay Thompson in the reserve pool means he has to be sure to balance out the personnel beforehand. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how the two-time MVP goes about assembling his crew.
