The Golden State Warriors came up with a huge victory on Monday, mounting a very impressive come-from-behind victory against the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers. Unsurprisingly, Dubs superstar Stephen Curry had another noteworthy showing for his squad, which featured a Kevin Durant-approved dagger trey deep in the final frame.

Durant, who now plies his trade for the Brooklyn Nets, just had to reference NBA 2K in his reaction to a video game-like three-pointer from Curry over Lakers big man Anthony Davis (h/t B/R Gaming on Twitter):

In case you missed it (or if you've already seen it and just want to relive the glory), here is that disrespectful play from the former back-to-back MVP, which put the Warriors up by five points with just a little over a minute left in the ballgame:

After being down by as much as 19 points, Golden State went on a furious run late in the game to upset the Lakers in the Staples Center. Curry led the way for the Dubs, finishing with 26 points on 8-of-22 shooting, to go along with three triples, one rebound, seven assists, and a steal in 36 minutes of action. It wasn't a stellar outing for Steph, but it got the job done for the Warriors.

Golden State came up with a statement win over the 2020 NBA champions on Wednesday, as they improve to 7-6 on the season. They return to action on Wednesday and Thursday in a back-to-back set against the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks, respectively.
