Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson and Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love both grew up in Oregon. They were childhood friends who played youth baseball together, and Thompson recently returned to Oregon to reminisce about his time there as a kid. This return featured a visit to a baseball field where Thompson beaned Love in the back with a pitch.

Thompson is a funny guy with a lot of great stories to tell, so of course he got a little trolling in of Love during this trip down memory lane.Ā Thompson and Love became rivals in the NBA in the last decade thanks to all the NBA Finals matchups between the Warriors and Cavs.
While Golden State won three of the four matchups, Cleveland getting its first-ever championship in 2016 was arguably the sweetest of them all. The Cavs, of course, came back from a 3-1 deficit to stun the 73-win Warriors that year, with Love playing one of the hero roles down the stretch of Game 7.
These two guys will have plenty of memories to look back on down the road, starting from when they were kids all through their professional careers.
