Former NBA point guard Nate Robinson says Kevin Durant should re-sign with the Golden State Warriors if they win the 2019 championship.

As we all know, Durant becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors. KD has been heavily linked with the New York Knicks, as he is reportedly looking to team up with Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving in the Big Apple.

Robinson, who played for eight teams during his NBA career, believes Durant should stay with the Warriors and win as many titles as he can.

“Personally, if I was Kevin, if the Warriors win this year, I am coming back and winning another championship,” Robinson told Landon Buford of Warriors Wire. “Isn’t that the ultimate goal? Of course, you are going to make money — you have hundreds of millions of dollars. At this point, if you want more than a hundred million, you are just being greedy. And you want to win — that is what you have been saying this whole time.

“Why mess with a dynasty and see how many you can win. Like Bill Russell, he has a hundred championships, and if I could be on a team like that I would stay.”

The Warriors have won two straight titles since Durant signed with them in 2016 and are favored to win their third straight this season.

Some believe Durant wants to leave Golden State to embark on a new challenge since he still gets ripped for hopping on the Warriors' bandwagon. We'll see what happens when free agency starts.
