Shannon Sharpe, co-host of Fox Sports 1's Undisputed, wants no more barking from Draymond Green after news broke of the Golden State Warriors forward allegedly getting sucker punched by Tristan Thompson in a post ESPYs party at Delilah nightclub, hosted by LeBron James.

Thompson allegedly sucker punched Green as he tried to apologize for not shaking his hand at the end of a clean sweep in the NBA Finals, but the Cleveland Cavaliers center had none of that, immediately punching Green before the two were separated.

Sharpe discussed the matter with co-host Skip Bayless, noting that this was a byproduct of his post-Game 1 comments, where Green welcomed seeing Thompson in the streets anytime he wanted to have a confrontation.

“We're not friends … you don't like me, I don't like you. Ain't no apologizing,” Sharpe said. “Stop all that woofing. Stop pretending you're hard.”

Sharpe was also operating under the narrative that Thompson punched Green twice, as one source close to the scene described it, according to Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic.

“It was a sucker punch,” said one source who attended the party. “But, to be honest, it wasn’t really a punch. It was more like a shove.”

“It was a face mush, another source described it. Other reports have described it as a legit punch, maybe even a quick one-two.”

It's hard to fathom that the same man who was suspended for retaliating after getting walked over in Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals would keep from doing so against a man who throws not one, but two punches — making that description rather tough to believe.

It seems Green was trying to do the right thing, as his postgame response was a byproduct of a high following a pivotal Game 1, where he was shoved only by coming in the vicinity of Thompson, who had an issue with Shaun Livingston shooting the ball before the shot clock expired.

Green's championship parade comments also struck a nerve, as he unashamedly made it known he refused to shake Thompson's hand because the two players were “not cut from the same cloth.”
