The Golden State Warriors are fighting through one of their worst stretches of basketball in recent memory, but Shaun Livingston is preaching patience via Twitter.
The Warriors have lost three in a row and four of their last five — a surprising rough patch for the odds-on favorites to win a third-straight championship. This is only the third three-game losing streak for the Dubs since 2014 and they have never lost four in a row during that period of time. That's a pretty mind-boggling stat, showing just how consistent they have been in recent years.
Shaun Livingston has been with the Warriors for all four of their championship appearances so he knows how good Golden State is capable of playing. Things may seem bad at the moment, but this could be a distant memory if the Warriors achieve the elusive three-peat when it's all said and done.
After all, Stephen Curry is out and it's quite clear that he's the straw that stirs the drink for Steve Kerr's squad. Sure enough, there are concerns arising from this poor stretch which included a very public altercation between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. However, that doesn't mean the Warriors are going to fall apart and see their dynasty end.
Championships aren't won or lost in November. Shaun Livingston has been through all the ups and downs of the Golden State dynasty. He knows that all they need to do is give it some time.
