Some people are attempting to create a rivalry between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies. Then some are making this series all about Steph Curry and Ja Morant. Earlier this week, Steve Kerr told reporters he doesn't believe the team has a rival, and they just see the Grizzlies as a young talented team.

When it comes to Curry against Morant, the two-time MVP understands why it's a thing but doesn't really think it's something that should be focused on.

“You know what sales, but it's team basketball,” the Warrior star told ClutchPoints. “There's no way to win at this level without everybody contributing…It's a beautiful thing when you look at everybody that contributed tonight. It's going to be the same way the whole series.”

The Warriors played 11 players on Sunday in the win against the Grizzlies. Nine played significant minutes, and they each had more than five points or five rebounds. Whether it was defense, offense, or rebounding, each player made a difference, and everyone's contributions were needed.

The undersized Warriors outrebounded the Grizzlies 51-47, and they outscored them in points in the paint 56-44. This was primarily accomplished without the aid of Draymond Green, who was ejected in the first half of the game.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Warriors are the first team since 1987 to have multiple players record a 30-point game off the bench in a single postseason. Curry scored 34 points against the Denver Nuggets, and Sunday, Jordan Poole scored a postseason high 31 points off the bench.

Game 2 will take another collective effort for the Warriors to win, and they feel confident they can do it. The Dubs played a good game, but they know they can play better.
