Golden State Warriors two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry has his eyes set on another sport. Curry and his wife, Ayesha, are reportedly in talks with the PGA to launch their own golf tournament. Entitled the “Stephen Curry Charity Classic,” the Currys will present the tournament located at San Francisco golf course TPC Harding San Francisco in an effort to raise over $1 million for charities Eat. Learn. Play. and PGA REACH, per NBA Sports Bay Area.

Curry's foray into golf has not been a new development. The three-time NBA champion with the Warriors is well known as a proficient and frequent golfer when he is not draining 3-pointers. He has hit the links with former United States president Barack Obama. Additionally, starting earlier this summer, ABC began airing the Curry-produced “Holey Moley”—a sports reality show featuring Steph and contestants vying for a cash prize on a mini golf course.

Per NBC Sports, Curry's foundation fights childhood hunger and aims to provide healthy lifestyles and opportunity for disadvantages children.

“We launched ‘Eat. Learn. Play.' earlier this year with an aim to become one of the country’s most innovative and impactful charities through our commitment to create equal opportunities and bright futures for every child,” the Currys said together in a press release. “We believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Eat. Learn. Play. is committed to unlocking the amazing potential of every child by fighting to end childhood hunger, ensuring universal access to quality education, and enabling healthy, active lifestyles.”

The NBA's top point guard has branched out from basketball to become a global recognizable face among sports fans and outside of basketball. That will happen when you make five consecutive Finals.
