Superstar point guard Stephen Curry rejoined the Golden State Warriors on Sunday and has started working on his lateral movement and jumping.

While Curry isn't close to playing again, he could start traveling with the Warriors soon:

“We'd like to have him with the team as much as possible,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said, via ESPN. “I haven't talked to him about our next trip, but I'm sure he'll be around the team more and more now that he's allowed to be up here with our staff.”

Curry broke his hand on Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns and underwent his first surgery on Nov. 1. The Warriors’ floor general told reporters in November he “definitely” expects to return at some point this season.

Before he got hurt, Curry was putting up 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 40.9 percent from the field, 24.3 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million deal with the Warriors back in the summer of 2017. He’s making $40.2 million this season.

By the time Curry is cleared to play, the Warriors will be way out of the playoff picture. However, Steph is a competitor and wants to be out there with his teammates if he can play.

Golden State is tied with the Atlanta Hawks for the worst record in the league right now at 6-24.
