The Golden State Warriors are heading into Game 5 of the NBA Finals with a lot of momentum, much of which is thanks to the offensive stylings of superstar guard Stephen Curry. One of Curry's former championship teammates views the three-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Most Valuable Player from quite an interesting light.

Hopping on an AMA (ask me anything) thread on Reddit, former Warrior and 2015 NBA champion Andrew Bogut was asked by reddit user NBAcoach1 to describe any story from playing with Stephen Curry that accurately describes the kind of person he is.

Bogut promptly responded with this:

“He is one of the few superstars I have been around that DOES NOT act like a superstar. He is one of the best human beings in the NBA.”

That should not be much of a surprise, of course, as Curry does carry a reputation for being well-grounded despite his stratospheric status in the game of basketball.

This is also not the first time Bogut has heaped praise on his former teammate, with Bogut once saying that Curry's winning (or not winning) Finals MVP will not really change the trajectory of his career.

Bogut’s words actually echo those of Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who recently said that Curry actually reminds him of Tim Duncan, especially in terms of being “the perfect kind of leader, someone who you feel comfortable with in the locker room but somebody who you can count on to take you where you need to go on the floor.”

Without a doubt, the Golden State Warriors will continue to count on Stephen Curry as they try to take Game 5 at home against the Boston Celtics.
