The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. These are two high-powered offenses that will look to exploit each other's weaknesses on defense. In the past, Stephen Curry was considered the weakest link, but this year people have started to credit him as a solid defender.

Monday after practice, Curry had a funny interaction with ClutchPoints after we started our question with “being the two-way player that you are.” That part of the question made Curry burst into laughter, but he still wanted to hear the rest of the question.

We then went on to ask Curry if he studies the offensive side of the ball or the defensive side first when watching film of his opponent. He gave a quick response with more laughter.

“You know the answer to that question,” Curry said. “I appreciate you trying to set me up, but you know the answer to that question.”

This postseason, Stephen Curry is averaging 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.1 steals. He also graduated from Davidson college this week, all while preparing for his next opponent Luka Doncic and the Mavs.

In the regular season, the Warriors lost three out of four games against the Mavs. They were missing either Curry, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green, though. With all three players, the Dubs have been dominant. They took care of business against the Denver Nuggets and the Memphis Grizzlies, and now have their eyes set on Dallas.

The series will start Wednesday inside the Chase Center.
