By this time, Reggie Miller and Larry Bird should be well aware that Stephen Curry's swagger is on a whole different level. The Golden State Warriors superstar has been able to not just talk the talk but also walk the walk as he continues his stellar career in the NBA.

On Sunday during the 2021 All-Star Game, Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller was checking on the two-time MVP in-game after his 3-Point Contest win. Miller, who knows a thing or two about three-point shooting, asked Curry if he pulled a Larry Bird before the 3-Point Contest and trash-talked his way into another 3-Point Contest title.

“Sometimes you don't even have to say it. You just walk in the locker room and you just got that look,” Stephen Curry told Miller (via NBA on TNT)

The Boston Celtics legend was a savage trash-talker in his time and apparently asked his opponents in the 1988 3-Point Contest, “So, who's coming in second?”. Bird was coming off back-to-back 3-Point Contest titles that year and, just like what he predicted, came up with his third straight 3-Point Contest trophy. That's just savage.

Like Bird, Stephen Curry backed his talk and won it all on Sunday. The two-time MVP drained an insane 31 points in the first round to cement his place in the final round where he eventually sent Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics packing.

Stephen Curry tallied a total of 28 which was enough for him to seal the deal on just his second 3-Point Contest win in seven attempts.

Entering this season without Klay Thompson, the Warriors and the rest of the NBA wondered just how much Stephen Curry could achieve, and whether he would burnish his legacy or watch it become more eroded. Curry's insane shooting has been as great as it ever was, if not better. Sunday was a punctuation mark of sorts for the greatest shooter of all time.
