Nicholas Braun has risen to superstardom over the past few years for his role in the HBO hit series Succession. The 34-year-old American actor plays Cousin Greg in the award-winning show, and recently, Braun revealed how he draws inspiration from Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry when on the set.
Braun guested on Adrian Wojnarowski's The Woj Pod and the actor talked about how influential the Warriors point guard has been in his portrayal of one of the central characters of the show. Apparently, Braun likes to channel his inner Stephen Curry whenever there's a high-stakes scene that he needs to deliver on:
“I do think of those times as like my Steph Curry buzzer-beater times… I'm always like, ‘We gotta f—ing get this. This could be amazing. People need to see this. We need to nail this.' So anyway, that is in my head a lot. I'm like, ‘Hit the three. Hit the three, baby. C'mon,'” Braun said of the Warriors talisman.

Cousin Greg is one of the most likable characters on Succession and you have to commend Braun for his excellent acting skills. As it turns out, he motivates himself by envisioning himself in the shoes of the great Warriors superstar. It's a totally different situation, no doubt, but the stakes are also very high for Braun and the production crew.
