After the Golden State Warriors won the 2021-22 NBA title on Thursday, Stephen Curry and former US president Barack Obama had a rather fun phone call. Now, we know some of the details of what they talked about.

The video of the conversation between Curry and Obama are now going viral, with the Warriors star showing his appreciation for the former POTUS.

“Thank you so much, man. You know, from the last time I saw you, just how far away this actually felt. Man, this was special. This was special, I appreciate you,” Curry can be heard telling Obama, per The Kansas City Star.

What is interesting, however, is that Barack Obama told something to Stephen Curry that is apparently not good on live TV. Perhaps Obama asked the Warriors guard to deliver a NSFW message his haters? It's pretty clear it's for Curry's doubters, but we can only wait for Steph or Obama to confirm what it's about.

“I wish I could say that! I wish I could say that on TV! Aw, man. Absolutely, what they gonna say now? Nothing. All they could say is it's golf season,” Curry said while laughing during the conversation.

For what it's worth, Obama also recently heaped praise on the Warriors for their fourth championship in eight years. Since the ex-POTUS is a huge Chicago Bulls fan, he knows what greatness is all about.
