Like a lot of NBA superstars, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has always been good about giving his time and money to those less fortunate than him. He was back at it again on Monday night revealing the Stephen and Ayesha Curry Family Foundation Education Lab in North Oakland according to NBC Sports.

This lab is a room within the rec center that will include laptops, printers, and headsets. The Oakland Parks and Rec system is trying to help kids learn while still providing them with rec opportunities and this will be a big help.

“The educational lab was a natural progression,” George Henderson, who is on the board for the Bushrod rec center said. “It’s supporting everything that we’re taking as our new focus for Oakland Parks and Recreation youth development. This is what Park and Recs is good at. We can do some sports, we can do some arts and we can support their educational structure.”

Curry told the kids in attendance that it's important they use the space for good and really focus on the studies along with the recreation time.

“To be able to go in and become smarter, become confident and more intelligent as human beings, is important,” Curry said. “We really want you to enjoy that space.”

This isn't the first time that Curry has helped out the Bushrod center. Just ten months ago he surprised the kids with a refurbished gym and helped fix up some of the other parts of the center that needed a major facelift.

This is just another example of someone going above and beyond to help the kids out.
