Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant would have celebrated her 15th birthday on May 1. The NBA world paid tribute to Gigi on what would have been her special day, including Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors who honored the Mambacita with his pre-game outfit on Saturday.

Curry and teammate Draymond Green wore matching jumpsuits that bore Gigi's moniker, “Mambacita” (h/t ESPN on Twitter):

Steph also posted on Twitter to celebrate and remember Gigi's birthday:

Gigi, the second daughter of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, met her untimely demise last year in a tragic helicopter crash along with his father and seven other victims. Curry, the Warriors, and the rest of the NBA world remember Gigi on what would have been her 15th birthday.

It's been over a year since the tragedy but moments such as these just bring back all the pain. Regardless if you're a Kobe fan or not, the entire basketball community (and beyond) continue to mourn the untimely loss of one of the greatest to have ever played the game. The fact that he was with his daughter during the accident only makes the loss even more devastating.

Gigi Bryant had a bright future ahead of her. Her group was actually on their way to one of her basketball games when they met the accident. Kobe served as the team's head coach.

As for Curry and the Warriors, they are in action On Saturday against the Houston Rockets. They've lost two straight games and will be looking to bounce back against a struggling Rockets side.
